Beyonce was spotted on the balcony of the Ritz Hotel looking fabulous in that hot pink and sheer black dress. Gorgeous as usual. She was on the set of a photo shoot (allegedly for Harper's Bazaar).

I can't wait to see the finished photos...wherever they end up.

Lindsay Lohan was Sentenced 120 Days in Jail!!!

Well, lucky for her bright orange is on of this Spring's "in" colors. Designer's Christian Dior and Issa featured bright colors in their Spring 2011 collection, including jailbird orange. It's so like Lindsay to stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. When she gets out she should rock that first dress (pictured above) designed by Issa, I absolutely love it!

And in Honor of Earth Day...

Today (April 22nd 2011) is Earth day!!

And what better why to honor that then by posting a few obviously recycled dresses from Jeremy Scott's Spring 2011 Collection.

We can show our appreciation for the earth by recycling. I'm not saying let's all go out in plastic bags but we can use less plastic bags and use  reusable shopping bags, which can be found in any local grocery stores or online. Recycle your cans and bottles...if not for the environment...do it for the spare change.

I See...I Love...I Want: Leopard Pumps.

I walked into Aldo a few days ago and I fell in love with almost every pair that sat on the selves (which is pretty typical for me, seeing how I have an unhealthy obsession with shoes). But one particular shoe had me drooling, like a 16 year old boy on the set of a Lil' Wayne video shoot. Eyes lit up...the whole nine yards. 

Every fashionista/ diva/ chica should own a pair of leopard print pumps!!! It's a must! Leopard print anything is a must. These pumps can enhance an old plain little black dress. They are just sooo sexy. I saw...I love and I still want. :'(

What I Wore: I Wear African.

Last week I went to a school fashion show. The Third Annual Minerva Fashion Show, to be exact....and this is what I wore.

Earrings: ALDO

Belt: Forever 21

Bangles: Forever 21

Black Dress: H&M

Blazer: Borrowed (from my Beautiful Malian friend...who got it made)

Although this Blazer cannot be found in stores, you can pair any fun printed blazer with a plain black dress to re-create this look. The blazer was a little big so I paired it with a thick black belt. Loose fitting blazers is in, so its alright to wear bigger blazers but the belt helps show off your curves.  

Don't ever be afraid of your curves.

TV Land Chic!

Actress Raven-Symone was spotted at the 9th Annual TV Land Awards on April 10th looking better than ever! The young actress most known for her roles as the adorable Olivia on the Cosby Show and Raven Baxter, the psychic teen on Disney's That's So Raven. Her body looks fab! Even though she lost some weight, she still kept her curves and is simply rocking that pearl embedded mini. I absolutely LOVE it. Where have you been girl? We want to see more Raven!

Another Model gets the Boot.

Last night's America's Next Top Model Cycle 16 ended in no surprise. 21-year-old college student, Mikaela, got eliminated. 

Although Mikaela had potential to be America's Next Top Model, because of her strikingly beautiful features, she failed to pull through in her photos, in which the judges overly stated that she showed no emotion in her eyes and host Tyra Banks did not hide  her love and admiration for Mikaela but apparently her word alone wasn't enough. Banks was out voted by the other judges (she repeatedly declared, she wasn't the one to make the final decisions) and Mikaela was finally sent home.

I have to admit she had it coming. Why would Tyra vote for Mikaela oppose to Brittani, who has consistently taken good, if not amazing, photos? Ok ok, Brittani fell short when she blew up on Alexandria (most hated girl in the house) but it happens and it certainly doesn't make her less of a model. Whereas Mikaela's photos have been shy from an "eh" all season. She was on the bottom two in last weeks episode and quite frankly, two chances was too many. And since when does Tyra show favorites? She was a favorite of mine but home girl couldn't pull through in her photos. The real surprise is that she lasted this long. But now I wonder if it's because she had Tyra defending her on the judges table...

Maybe print isn't her thing. Hopefully we'll see her owning the runway sometime soon. She does in fact have a face for the fashion industry. I have a feeling we'll definitely be seeing her again.
